I had a model slot with Sofie, one of the new talents, and she did such an amazing job with my hair! She was so kind and made my hair feel really healthy. I love how she cut my layers. Overall, I had great experience!!

I was a model for Hannah. She did my curly cut. I loved how she took her time to listen to me. She asked me questions about what I like about my hair and gave me a good techniques and product info to maintain the style in my hair! Love the salon! Vibes are always great! Can't wait to come back!

I was visting Chicago for a few days before attending an important event and needed to get my hair cut and highlights refreshed. I had read some excellent reviews about SINE QUA NON so booked an appointment. Stacia was my stylist and she did an amazing job. The cut was just as I like it and the highlights were perfect. Stacia was so gentle with my hair and scalp too. If you have a tender scalp and/or want a fantastic cut & colour, I can highly recommend Stacia.

I got my hair done by Theo and he was nothing short of phenomenal. It was a six hour long session (full bleach and color is no quick task) and every step of the way he was checking in, asking if I needed a break, water, or snacks, and was very good about communicating what every step was and why we were doing it. If you want a chill stylist who won't yap your ear off, I'd highly recommend Theo

Recently moved to the Chicago area and was looking for a new salon. Had a few so so experiences around town, and today I came in for a trim with Monet, and they did a fantastic job with my straight, fine, long hair. The result looked like something out of a high-end magazine. Monet was attentive, listened carefully to what I wanted, and checked in throughout the process to make sure we were on the same page. I couldn’t be happier with the experience—highly recommend!

I've been coming here for my haircuts and color from Theo for a while and he's always been super open to my ideas and working with me to make it work. When I asked him to match the color to my shirt, I fear he rose to the challenge and knocked it out of the park. 10/10 service, I always leave the salon feeling leagues cooler than when I walked in.

Best hair cut I've ever had. I came here on a whim and glad I did- Clare is fantastic at what she does and is also thoughtful in her approach. I was hoping for a lot of advice and she definitely came through! I'm a regular now and am glad I found this place- actually look forward to getting a haircut. The tea and other bevs are an added bonus.
