Frequently Asked Questions

Do you have parking?

Yes, metered street parking is available. There is also some free street parking available on the side streets.

Do you accept walk-ins?

Yes, if we have space available on our books. We strongly encourage calling ahead to get the appointment time you prefer.

Are we dog friendly?

Yes.

Can I bring my kid/baby/stroller?

Yes, but please keep in mind that the salon environment can be noisy and/or busy.

How far in advance do you guys book up?

We are usually booked 1-2 weeks in advance. During holiday season and spring time, these times can be longer. We do offer a wait list and online booking (link to online booking).

What products do you carry?

R+Co and Oribe.

Payment

What forms of payment do you accept?

We accept all major credit cards as a form of payment. We do not accept checks.

Can we put tips on a credit card?

No, but we can give you cash back on a debit card. Most stylists also use Venmo for gratuity.

Do you offer any new client discounts?

No, but after your first visit you will receive a New Client bag with future offers. Check our promotions page on our website or Instagram for our current specials.

Can I pay less if I don't get the blowout with my service?

A basic style is complimentary and included in every color service. We prefer to dry the hair after color is done, so the stylist can make sure that you are in love with the finished result!

Hair Coloring

What color lines does we use?

Aveda and Wella, and Joico Intensity for fashion colors.

Is your color ammonia free?

Yes, we have Wella Color Touch which is ammonia free. Aveda color is not ammonia-free but it is low-ammonia.

What's the difference between the color services (ie. what's a partial highlight versus a full highlight)?

Hair Cuts & Styling

How much are your haircuts?

$52 – $120. We are on a level system based on experience behind the chair and the amount of years worked at Sine– the higher the level, the more experienced the stylist. We have stylists and senior stylists. Senior stylists have worked at Sine Qua Non 8 years or more. Within the two categories we have different price points.

Does the cut come with a wash and style?

Yes.

Do you do...

Do you do mens cuts?

Yes, we are experts at mens haircutting and barbering. Call or look at our online stylist profiles to get matched to a mens hair specialist.

Do you do braids?

We do braided styles/updos.

Do you do relaxers?

We offer Brazilian Blowouts and Keratin treatments.

Do you do perms?

Yes.

Do you do twist-outs?

No.

Do you do keratin treatments? Which one?

Yes, we use Marcia Teixeira brand keratin treatment and Brazilian Blowout.

We pledge to give your special someone the perfect Sine' Experience in our warm and chic salon spaces. You can choose to have a card mailed to recipient ($5 service fee) or send it by email with no fee.
