music we love ~ looking at september edition
And just like that, summer is saying her goodbyes to welcome Fall to the party. Season changes and fresh months are always the best for new music, however, so check out some of these new tunes we’ve been jamming to at Sine!
1. Tom Misch – Quarantine Sessions
Tom Misch, from the UK, always has some dreamy, LOFI music on deck and Q-tine Sessions is another calming, excellently arranged mix. His take on modern classics, Misch picks apart songs like ‘Cranes in the Sky’ and ‘Smells like Teen Spirit,” and layers on soulful strings and production to tell his own version.
2. charlie xcx – good ones
Charlie XCX is back with a relatable anthem, ‘Good Ones.’ “I let the good ones go,” she repeats, bass and drums cushioning her electro-pop frustration.
3. Jorja smith and sasha keable- killing me
This song combines two sultry voices brilliantly. Powerful, yet soft and breakable, this song is a soothing chill-worthy ballad about vulnerability in loving yourself.
4. Lady gaga – dawn of chromatica
If you’re a Lady Gaga fan, I apologize for giving you such old news. But for the others, if you enjoyed ‘Chromatica,’ you’re sure to love this remix album, adding even more amazing features and breakdowns to Gaga’s already flawless album. And I MEAN…the album art!
