Today we celebrate Sine Sweethearts by talking hair with a handful of our favorite client couples. We at Sine greatly appreciate all of our clients and hope you enjoy your Valentine’s Day!

SQN: How long have you been a client of Sine Qua Non?

Teri: Since 2008.

George: Since 2010.

SQN: Do you see the same stylist?

No, Teri sees Sonia and George sees Mischa.

SQN: Who discovered their stylist first?

Teri discovered Sine first!

SQN: Do you come in for appointments together?

No, Teri sees Sonia in Lakeview and George sees Mischa in West Town.

SQN: Hair flashback! What is your favorite out of all of your significant others’ past hairstyles?

Teri: When he grew it out super long in college…it was amazing!

George: When she dyed her hair bright red in college!

Lance & Jim

SQN: How long have you been a client of Sine Qua Non?

We both began seeing Brad about 7 years ago. 

SQN: Do you see the same stylist?

Is there any other stylist but Brad Hough?

SQN: Who discovered Brad first?

We both were at dinner and ran into a friend who had really good hair – he was a client of Brad’s.  We had both been seeing the same stylist for a while and we were both ready to try someone new. Jim went to Brad first and Lance followed almost immediately thereafter when he saw how good Jim looked. We both have both been loyal cult like followers of his ever since.

SQN: Do you come in for appointments together?

No. But we both require a debrief from the other after an appointment.

SQN: Hair flashback! What is your favorite out of all of your significant others’ past hairstyles?

Lance likes Jim’s hair neat and clipped and Jim likes Lance’s hair any way that keeps him quiet and happy. Thankfully for both of us when you go to Brad every day is a good hair day.

SQN: How long have you been a client of Sine Qua Non?

About 10 years? We followed Val from her last salon when she started at Sine.

SQN: Do you see the same stylist?

Yes, Valerie.

SQN: Who discovered Valerie first?

Russ. He had been friends with her for many years before we met.

SQN: Do you come in for appointments together?

Mary: Sometimes we do. I tend to come in more often than Russ though.

SQN: Hair flashback! What is your favorite out of all of your significant others’ past hairstyles?

Russ: Uh oh! I like your present haircut but I did really like your last haircut (blonde, long layered). I liked the mullet haircut too.

Mary: I like Russ’s present haircut although he does need a trim. I was supportive of the “Women and Women First” long hair he had going but like it above his shoulders better.

Policies

CANCELLATION AND PAYMENT POLICY
At Sine Qua Non, we know things happen. In order to ensure that we can accommodate all of our guests needs, we require that you give us at least 24 hours notice to cancel or reschedule your appointment.

We are unable to hold any appointment without a valid credit card on file. If you cancel without 24 hours notice or no show for your appointment, a charge equal to 50% of your service and will be charged to your card.

ADJUSTMENT TO SERVICES POLICY
Our goal is complete happiness with your fresh cut and color. If you need an adjustment service, they are free within 2 weeks from your original appointment, preferably with your original stylist. If a refund is requested, our policy is: Call and schedule an assessment with management within 2 weeks of your service. You must come into the salon, so we can see the problem in person. If you received an adjustment at a different salon or cannot stop by so we can see your hair, we will not refund your services.

PRODUCT RETURN POLICY
It is important to us that you are totally happy with your purchase. Product returns must happen within 30 days of purchase, be accompanied by a store receipt (and we can view in your client file) and the product must be nearly full. If you paid by credit card, you may receive a credit on your card. We are a completely cashless business.

LATE POLICY
We are committed to giving you the best one-on-one service available. If you are more than 15 minutes late, and we are unable to give you the attention you deserve, we ask that you reschedule your appointment for another day or with an available stylist.
